Storyline: Chapter 2 Page 20
December 2nd, 2014In addition to resolving to make more comics, I also resolved to just get better at art in general. In my quest to do that, I found myself flipping through some of the sketchbook threads on ConceptArt.org, and boy did that get me wanting to make stuff.
My goal is half an hour of drawing of some kind each day. As part of this, I’ve been doing some value studies of masters, photographs, and film stills and it’s going OKAY. It’s hard to be patient and not immediately move to doing things in color (because that’s really what I want to get good at).
