Behold, the first fart joke of this website’s history.

During my trip, I had the privilege of visiting Naoshima, which is basically a tiny island with art installations and museums dotted all over! One of the museums we went to was Chichu Art Museum, which had a special exhibit called Open Sky (by James Turrell). Basically we were put in a room with a large square hole in the top, and watched in silence as the sky changed colors due to sunset. The room itself had this colored lights that made for some subtle and interesting visual effects. It was an unusual and unique experience, not just because of the artwork but because my only experience with modern art so far has been looking at stuff in museums at my own pace. For the first time, I viewed an artwork on its own terms.

Art!
