Don't get me wrong though, undergrad research is awesome and I totally love it (you can check out my lab's project page here!). If you're at all interested in BEING COOL grad school, I'd highly recommend it -- and its easier to get involved in it than one might think. UW, for one, has a really good resource called the Undergraduate Research Program.
