If you like picking your own projects and having control over what you do and how, grad school (with a good advisor/professor) is awesome! It’s very unstructured and provides a lot of freedom, which is great for some people but extremely anxiety-inducing for others. For me, it’s somewhere in between (I love the freedom of academia but man, it gets rough when you don’t know what to do next).

Why IS grad school awesome? I stopped after undergrad and sometimes I think about continuing but I’m not sure.
